0154 - The mural at Primary School No. 9 in Słupsk is a very colorful graphic element of Słupsk. In its striking form, it contains an octopus motif, which corresponds to the maritime profile of the school. The mural is located on the wall of the canteen, and the pattern of an octopus with long tentacles among high waves of water optically enlarges the room with its large scale. The octopus was painted freely, with strong colors, somewhat humorously. The shape of the animal is dynamic, covered with restless lines and signs used to imitate its movement and swaying waves. The tentacles of the octopus are outlined realistically, and the wave shapes give the whole cafeteria a dynamic and energetic atmosphere. The implementation of the project and the creation of the mural transformed the school space into an attractive and inspiring environment for students, staff and visitors to the school. The mural has a positive effect on the entire community of the Primary School and becomes the subject of conversations and discussions also in other places in Słupsk.
